Read Across America Day

Today, March 2, is the annual Read Across America Day commemorating the birthday of Theodore Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss. When I taught elementary school, I was able to carve out time to read aloud from Green Eggs and Ham and The Cat in the Hat. It’s much harder in high school, so here’s my acknowledgement in the form of the above link to the National Education Association (NEA) site. Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!
